Step 1		Initial SEO discussions: We will have in depth discussions with the client to learn more about the business model. During this step we will discuss the business with the owner, and gather a deep understanding of the subtle nuances of the target market.
Step 2		Perform Keyword Research: (research niche keywords): Utilizing several keyword research tools, we will develop a master list of high commercial intent keywords. We help you find out which keywords are good keywords. Keywords are the words that web surfers enter in search engines to find websites. It’s pointless to optimize your web pages for keywords that nobody uses in the search engines. For a successful online marketing campaign, you must target the right keywords. The keywords you use should be relevant for your website and web surfers should be searching for your keywords. Step 3		Developing your online persona: We will develop a persona for you online. Step 5		Setup Google Webmaster Tools: Google Webmaster Tools is a free service that helps us determines any issues that Google might dislike about your web site. For example, it will tell us 404 errors and whether or not your site map is uploaded and configured properly.) We will setup your Google Webmaster Tools and provide you a login that you will own.
Step 6		Setup Google Analytics account and tracking code: Google Analytics is a free statistics program that helps us make a benchmark of your current traffic levels and enables us to monitor your traffic each week. We will setup Google Analytics, and install conversion tracking code on 3 success pages. Typically this is a Thankyou page for your newsletter opt in, or a Thank you page for your Contact Us Form, or a Thank you page after a product is purchased. We will require you to contact your web designer, and ensure these Thank you pages are setup prior to us installing the code. After you provide the exact location of your success pages, we will login and install your Google Analytics Conversion Tracking code. To find your success pages, visit your site, and go through the process of opting into your newsletter, or buying a product, or submitting a contact form.
Step 7		Setup Get Clicky Tracking Code: GetClicky is a real time web analytics service that offers 3 things Google Analytics does not: 1.) real time analytics 2.) twitter monitors 3.) email reports delivered in web 2.0 format in the body of the email (no pdf, no login).
Step 8		Run Initial Rank Report: The initial rank report will look at existing ranks to set a benchmark.
Step 9		Setup Weekly Rank Report: The weekly rank report will show how the ranks are moving, either up or down. Ranks will rise or fall in relation to the SEO efforts of your competitors.
Step 10		Research 5 Complimentary Business Categories: We will research and discover complimentary business categories for you. Complimentary business partners, or “centers of influence” are a vital cross promotional online marketing strategy.
Step 11		Research Top 5 DMOZ Categories for your business: This step requires that we research the best (most relevant) categories for your DMOZ Submissions. DMOZ.org is the largest open source internet directory online. Submission is free, but getting listed is very difficult as the sites allowed into this directory are usually high quality and niche.
Step 12		Develop Directory Persona: In this step we will setup your directory persona. When submitting to an internet directory or online yellow pages, you will need to have keyword rich titles and descriptions.
Step 13		Develop Article Submission Info: Article marketing is perhaps the most effective online marketing strategy today. In order to submit an article to an article directory, you must first create an article persona.
Step 14		Develop Social Bookmarking Persona: Social bookmarking is where people save bookmarks or favorite sites, to a public location. This step requires that we setup a keyword rich persona for your bookmarking profile. This requires a certain character limitation and style of persona which is different that then directory persona.
Step 15		Develop a list of competitor back links: To get top ranks, you must obtain high page rank back links in large numbers. Your competitors back links is a great place to look first. Step 16		Develop a list of .EDU back links. .EDU and .ORG links are the most powerful links to obtain. We will research relevant .EDU and .ORG back link locations in your industry and initiate a link building campaign to those locations.

Step 1		We help you optimize your website titles and meta tags for 10 pages at your site: High rankings on Google and other search engines are the result of optimized web page content and good incoming links. Start with optimizing your web page content. By optimizing your web page content, you tell search engines for which keywords you want to be found. Search engines can only give your web page a high ranking for a certain keyword if your web page is relevant to that keyword. Make sure you have your target keywords in your titles, h1 tags, page urls, metas, body area, breadcrumbs and image alt tags. In phase 1 we help you optimize at least ten different pages of your website for different but related keywords. (note: other seo firms charge $1000 for this task alone.)
Step 2		We will do an SEO AUDIT: We’ll detect and remove hidden, invisible or misspelled text and duplicate content. Often times people will knowingly, or unknowingly “trick” search engines by stuffing paragraphs of invisible text on their web pages. Google and other search engines now have technology to seek out these black hat SEO practices. Don’t do it! You could get banned entirely. This same rule applies for spelling. Spell checking is becoming important as search engines are moving to auto correction during searches. There is no longer a reason to look like you can’t spell (unless you really are phonetically challenged).
Step 3		We will fix your Doc Type Tag: The DOCTYPE tag should sit on the VERY first line of code for IE5 and IE6 – otherwise these browsers will revert to “quirks mode”. Check on your page source right now to see if there is a line of whitespace before the doctype.
Step 4		We will interlink important keywords at your site for 10 pages. Google loves this. We call this WIKI-izing your site links to other related articles. This is a great way to help your Google Ranks for those keywords, and also make things a whole lot easier on your website visitors. Go to Wikipedia and notice how they link certain keywords to other areas of their site.
Step 5		We help optimize your 404 page and a 301 page. You should always have a 404 page setup at your site. A 404 pages helps you analyze problem areas at your site (in your stats), and also provides your visitors with a user friendly option to return to your homepage. A 404 page explains to the user that the page does not exist, and gives them an option to return to the homepage. Sadly, most websites do not have a 404 page, and their visitors feel like that monkey Russia shot into space. A custom error page will be an added feature and advantage to your website. Avoid 301 page redirection unless you are truly redirecting your website to another domain. Don’t take chances of having your site banned like Business.com was earlier this year. Step 6		Optimize Your Robots.txt file: We will optimize your robots.txt file to enhance page rank. The robot exclusion standard, also known as the Robots Exclusion Protocol or robots.txt protocol, is a convention to prevent cooperating web spiders and other web robots from accessing all or part of a website which is otherwise publicly viewable. Robots are often used by search engines to categorize and archive web sites, or by webmasters to proofread source code. The standard complements Sitemaps, a robot inclusion standard for websites. If you have a section of your site with pages that are frequently changed, you can block the search engines from indexing them in their databases using robots.txt file.
Step 7		Setup Your Google Site Map: To get high rankings on Google and other search engines, you need to implement two different types of site maps at your website. The first is for the Google spider specifically and it’s called your XML site map. The 2nd is for your visitors primarily and it’s called your User Site Map. That way, search engines and human visitors who don’t have JavaScript or Flash facilities can find their way around your site. There are two types of site maps 1.) Step 8		Write 10 Content Articles: We help you write 10 optimized web articles. These articles will be 500 words each. (1 article per niche keyword–format metas, doc tags, h1 tags, keyword density, titles, descriptions) The content will be researched and developed by our copywriters. Step 9		Upload Your Articles: After the articles are written, you will need to upload those articles in html format into your web site. We help you upload 10 articles to your site in html format. Step 10		Update Your Site Map: After the articles are uploaded, we will need to update your site map. A site map is essentially a road map for the Google Spider to travel through your web site.

During this phase you submit the website to the paid and free search engine directories. Step 6		Create 25 blog comments: In this step we will do 25 blog comments for your website. We help you with blog commenting.
